A high-octane reality sports competition. I’ve been running with the show for six seasons, designing thousands of graphics, animating, and compositing.

I worked as a lead designer and animator on the Canadian satirical news show, and directed the show open.

As a motion designer for the show, one fun challenge was animating a 30-minute episode featuring a stream chat. The project was heavily data-driven and automated to allow quick changes.

I designed and created a working typeface for the show’s art department, and used it in motion graphics.

Generative video workflows

Building AI video pipelines in ComfyUI and merging them into a traditional design, animation and compositing workflow. The machines do the heavy lifting; the decisions stay human.

02 / How I work

Film-set discipline.
Minus the film set.

Film and TV run on fixed air dates, signed budgets and zero hand-holding. Years of that make for a simple promise, and it travels well.

On time.

Air dates don’t move, so I don’t either. You get a schedule up front, and files when I said you would.

On budget.

Scoped before we start, no surprise invoices. If the brief grows, you hear about it before the bill does.

On brief.

Give me the brief and forget about it. I work independently, ask the right questions early, and deliver what you asked for.
